MSC Armonia completed a scheduled dry dock at Grand Bahama Shipyard in Freeport. The approximately $30 million project included maintenance, technical, regulatory and classification work, along with renovations to public areas and passenger staterooms ahead of the ship’s return to Caribbean service.

MSC Armonia completed an extensive lengthening and refurbishment at Fincantieri’s Palermo shipyard as part of MSC Cruises’ Renaissance Programme. The ship was cut in two and a 24-meter prefabricated midsection was inserted, increasing capacity and adding 193 passenger cabins. The project also included new and enlarged dining and entertainment areas, expanded children’s facilities, an upgraded MSC Aurea Spa, a new spray park and extensive refurbishment of existing accommodations and public spaces.
