Shipyard
Navantia Cádiz
Duration
29 days
Celebrity Equinox completed a 29-day bow-to-stern modernization at Navantia Cádiz as the first Solstice-class ship transformed under Celebrity Cruises' $500 million Celebrity Revolution fleet-renewal program. The project introduced The Retreat Sundeck for suite guests and transformed Michael's Club into The Retreat Lounge, while staterooms received Celebrity's eXhale bedding and other upgrades. The Passport Bar was redesigned, Gastrobar became Craft Social, and new technology included RFID stateroom locks, expanded Xcelerate Wi-Fi and integration with the Celebrity Cruises app. Additional work included new retail concepts, spa enhancements and refreshed public spaces throughout the ship.
