The Vision class cruise ships were built between 1995 and 1998 for Royal Caribbean International and were among the first modern mega-ships with spacious design. Grandeur of the Seas underwent a five-week, $48 million Royal Advantage revitalization. Passenger accommodations and bathrooms were refurbished and new venues included Park Café, Chef's Table, Chops Grille, Giovanni's Table, Izumi, R Bar, Diamond and Concierge lounges and Royal Babies and Tots Nursery. The project also introduced aerial Centrum entertainment, a poolside movie screen, shipwide Wi-Fi and upgraded passenger technology.
