Carnival Magic underwent an extensive multimillion-dollar two-week dry dock from February 21 through March 6, 2016. The refurbishment introduced several of Carnival's signature dining and bar concepts, including Guy's Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, RedFrog Rum Bar, BlueIguana Tequila Bar, Pizzeria del Capitano and Alchemy Bar. The project was completed ahead of the ship's repositioning to Port Canaveral for year-round Caribbean service.
