MS Eurodam completed an approximately 13-day scheduled dry dock at Grand Bahama Shipyard in Freeport, The Bahamas, from February 19 through March 3, 2023. The shipyard period included routine technical maintenance, inspections and hotel-area refurbishment before the ship returned to service.

Eurodam completed a scheduled dry dock in April 2018 for maintenance, inspections and hotel-area refurbishment.

Eurodam completed a 14-day refurbishment in the Bahamas. The project renewed 112 suites and introduced new or updated dining, bar and entertainment offerings before the ship returned to service on December 20, 2015.

Eurodam underwent its first scheduled dry dock since entering service at Grand Bahama Shipyard in Freeport. Work included hull painting, servicing of the Azipod propulsion units, bow thrusters, stabilizers and other hull fittings, installation of new teak decking on the Lido Deck, and general interior maintenance and refurbishment.

MS Koningsdam completed an approximately 13-day scheduled dry dock at Vigor Shipyard in Portland, Oregon, from March 29 through April 10, 2023. The shipyard period included routine technical maintenance, inspections, general upkeep and hotel-area refurbishment before the ship returned to passenger service.

Scheduled dry dock and refurbishment. Work included general maintenance and technical work, installation of the Rolling Stone Rock Room live-music venue, modifications associated with Club Orange, and updates to Sel de Mer, subsequently renamed Rudi’s Sel de Mer.

Scheduled dry dock and major refurbishment. Work included creation of the permanent Morimoto By Sea restaurant, addition of Rolling Stone Lounge, ADA/accessibility modifications, cosmetic and public-area enhancements, routine technical maintenance, and installation of Starlink connectivity.

Nieuw Amsterdam completed a major refurbishment including conversion of Explorers Lounge to Lincoln Center Stage, Northern Lights to Gallery Bar, addition of Billboard Onboard, casino and spa updates, suite furniture/fixture/carpet upgrades, and conversion of Crow’s Nest into Explorations Central (EXC).

MS Nieuw Statendam completed a scheduled dry dock in 2023. The period covered routine technical maintenance and hotel-area refurbishment; the available historical record does not establish a more precise date range.

MS Noordam completed a scheduled dry dock from November 24 through December 8, 2024. The shipyard period was used for routine technical maintenance, inspections, general upkeep and hotel-area refresh work before the ship returned to service.

Noordam completed a scheduled refurbishment at Victoria Shipyards following its 2019 Alaska season. The project introduced Explorations Central in the reconfigured Crow’s Nest, Gallery Bar and Billboard Onboard. Suites, staterooms and public spaces received refreshed furniture, carpeting and soft furnishings, and contractor work was completed in 742 cabins.

Noordam underwent a scheduled dry dock and refurbishment. Work included a major navigation bridge retrofit, upgraded navigation systems and autopilot/propulsion interface, routine technical maintenance, and refurbishment of passenger accommodations and public areas.

MS Oosterdam completed an approximately two-week scheduled dry dock in the Bahamas from April 5 through April 19, 2025. In addition to routine technical maintenance and hotel upkeep, Holland America Line completed extensive passenger-area improvements including a new Effy Lounge and jewelry retail space, an expanded casino and more than 20,000 square meters of new carpeting throughout suites, verandah staterooms and public areas. Select stateroom bathrooms were fully renovated, several balcony staterooms received new deck furniture, and Rolling Stone Lounge was upgraded with a refreshed bar, carpeting, furnishings, lighting and flooring.

The Crow's Nest was redesigned with refreshed arts, games and puzzle areas, while Greenhouse Spa & Salon received extensive upgrades including a new co-ed sauna, couples massage room, rebuilt Thermal Suite, refreshed Relaxation Lounge and expanded salon. Lido Market and Canaletto received refreshed finishes and seating, the Sea View and Lido pools were renewed, new spa hot tubs and teak decking were installed, and additional improvements were completed in the Neptune Lounge, Photo Gallery, Photo Studio and Fitness Center.

Oosterdam completed a scheduled dry dock and refurbishment. Work included installation of Billboard Onboard, Lincoln Center Stage and Gallery Bar, along with upgrades to public areas, accommodations and routine technical maintenance.

Oosterdam underwent a scheduled dry dock in Victoria from September 25 through October 3, 2011 for maintenance and refurbishment before resuming West Coast / Mexican Riviera service.

MS Volendam completed a scheduled dry dock from October into November 2024. The shipyard period included routine maintenance, inspections and general onboard refreshing.

Volendam spent 16 days in dry dock in Cadiz following its extended pause in passenger operations. The shipyard period covered maintenance, inspections and work required ahead of its eventual return to service.

Volendam completed a scheduled refurbishment in Freeport. Contractor work included renovation of 196 suites, together with broader hotel-area renewal and scheduled maintenance.

Volendam underwent a scheduled dry dock in Singapore from March 31 through April 13, 2011 before beginning Far East, trans-Pacific and Alaska operations.

Westerdam completed a 12-day major refurbishment at Fincantieri Palermo in late April 2017. The project introduced Explorations Central, Rijksmuseum at Sea, Lincoln Center Stage, Billboard Onboard and Gallery Bar; reimagined Lido Market and the Retreat; refurbished suites, Greenhouse Spa & Salon, Club HAL and The Loft; and added 25 Deck 10 staterooms comprising 18 verandah and seven interior accommodations.

Westerdam completed a scheduled dry dock that included a major navigation bridge retrofit with new radar, ECDIS, track-control and GPS systems, refurbishment of crew and officer areas, new carpeting and soft furnishings in passenger cabins on Decks 5 through 8, new tile in the Lido area, and modifications to the Terrace Grill for the Dive-In concept.

MS Zaandam completed a two-week dry dock in the Bahamas in early 2025. Work included major updates to the library and activity areas, Greenhouse Spa & Salon, fitness facilities, Photo Gallery and Photo Studio, and the Neptune Lounge.

Zaandam completed a scheduled dry dock and refurbishment that included routine technical maintenance, hull and machinery work, and refurbishment of accommodations and public areas, including new carpeting, upholstery and other soft furnishings. The ship returned to service following the refurbishment on April 14, 2018.

Zuiderdam completed a scheduled dry dock at Grand Bahama Shipyard in Freeport. The approximately $16 million project included extensive stateroom refurbishment with new carpeting, furniture and wall coverings, quartz desktops, additional USB outlets, upgraded vanity fixtures, Nespresso coffee makers and new LCD televisions, along with machinery checks, safety inspections, hull servicing, cleaning and repainting.

Zuiderdam completed a major scheduled dry dock and refurbishment at Grand Bahama Shipyard in Freeport. Work included transforming the Crow’s Nest into the Explorations Central (EXC) destination and enrichment center, adding Lincoln Center Stage, Billboard Onboard and Gallery Bar, and extensive upgrades to suites and staterooms including new furniture, carpeting, wall coverings, quartz surfaces, USB outlets, LED lighting and interactive television systems.

Zuiderdam completed a scheduled dry dock and refurbishment that added new staterooms on Observation Deck 10 and introduced The Retreat adults-only sundeck on Sports Deck 11, replacing the former Canvas Cover areas. The project also included routine technical maintenance and refurbishment work.
