Norwegian Star underwent an approximately three-week scheduled dry dock at Damen Shiprepair Brest in France from late October into November 2024. The technical project included replacement of an approximately 80-ton stabilizer, dismantling and rebuilding of both azipods with new components, servicing of all three bow thrusters, class inspections and hull-valve maintenance. The hull was also cleaned and painted, with general maintenance and refurbishment completed before the ship returned to service.
