Caribbean Princess completed an 18-day dry dock at Vigor Shipyard in Portland, Oregon, from April 9 through April 26, 2022. The project included scheduled maintenance, technical work and renovation preparations. The ship's preceding voyage was shortened to provide additional time for the yard period.

Following the COVID-19 outbreak aboard Diamond Princess, the ship underwent an extensive deep-cleaning and disinfection program in Yokohama under Japanese health-authority supervision. During the subsequent local wet-dock period, interior renewal included replacement of mattresses, pillows, linens, draperies and curtains, together with previously scheduled maintenance tasks.

Diamond Princess underwent a multimillion-dollar refurbishment in Singapore from January 19 through February 2, 2019 as part of Princess Cruises' Come Back New Promise program. Movies Under the Stars received upgraded 7.1 surround sound and new pool-deck LED lighting. Emerald Princess completed a two-week dry dock at Seaspan Victoria Shipyards from April 1 through April 14, 2019. The project combined routine maintenance and classification work with passenger-area refurbishment, including Princess Luxury Bed installation, refreshed décor in The Sanctuary and Camp Discovery, and creation of Planks BBQ and Steamers Seafood from part of the buffet area.

SHARE by Curtis Stone replaced Sabatini's, and Salty Dog Gastropub was introduced in the Wheelhouse Bar. Passenger-facing changes included the debut of The Catch by Rudi seafood restaurant, which replaced Bistro Sur La Mer, while Sabatini's Italian Trattoria was relocated from Deck 5 to the former Bistro Sur La Mer space on Deck 7.

Grand Princess completed a scheduled dry dock at Vigor Shipyard in Portland, Oregon, from April 18 through May 3, 2025. The project combined routine maintenance, class inspections and passenger-area refresh work with upgrades throughout guest and operational spaces. Documented work included painting of guest elevators, replacement of bridge solar glides, marble replacement in public bathrooms, new galley tiles, replacement of pool-deck bulkheads, recoating of jacuzzis and retiling of spa treatment-room showers. Majestic Princess completed a scheduled dry dock at Fincantieri Palermo from March 11 through April 1, 2025. The project combined routine technical maintenance and class inspections with substantial passenger-area refurbishment. New and reworked venues included O'Malley's Irish Pub, Sabatini's Italian Trattoria, Good Spirits At Sea, Alfredo's Slice, Salty Dog Café, Ocean Terrace Sushi Bar and Bellini's Cocktail Bar. Retail and entertainment changes included expanded EFFY jewelry spaces, a new Confectionary and Captains Arcade, along with additional refreshed public spaces before the ship returned to service.

Regal Princess underwent a special dry dock at Damen Shiprepair Rotterdam from late April into early May 2025. The ship arrived at the Rotterdam facility on April 25 and resumed passenger service on May 9. Princess arranged the unscheduled project to address an essential technical issue that had affected the ship's winter operations but was not described as compromising its safety certification or passenger facilities.

The central task was replacement of a failed diesel-generator engine. Damen's project team prepared the vessel before docking, then removed exterior shell plating and an internal bulkhead, cleared piping, pumps and walkways, installed skidding tracks and lifted the failed engine out. The replacement engine was installed by reversing that process, after which the affected structure and systems were restored. The project also included hull painting, technical servicing and general upkeep. The April 4 transatlantic voyage was shortened, and a subsequent cruise was canceled to create the repair window.

Royal Princess underwent a multimillion-dollar dry-dock refurbishment at Grand Bahama Shipyard from December 1 through December 8, 2018. All passenger accommodations received Princess Luxury Beds and refreshed bedding, the Lotus Spa and fitness complex was refurbished, and the ship introduced updated theater programming including The Secret Silk and Encore.

Ruby Princess underwent an extended scheduled dry dock at Vigor Shipyard in Portland, Oregon, from September 24 through October 22, 2023. The project focused on routine maintenance, classification work and comprehensive technical overhaul work.

Sapphire Princess underwent an approximately two-week dry-dock refurbishment in Singapore in 2018. The ship received Princess' hull livery and all cabins were upgraded with Princess Luxury Beds. Lotus Spa and the fitness center, retail shops, corridors and hallways were renovated; Princess Theater received a new LED screen; a Club Class Mini-Suite category was introduced; and public areas received broader carpeting, furnishing and technology updates.

Sky Princess completed a scheduled dry dock at Damen Shiprepair Rotterdam's Botlek facility in Rotterdam in April and May 2023. The project included installation of an Air Lubrication System, with 12 air-release units installed beneath the hull to reduce hydrodynamic resistance and improve efficiency. The underwater hull was hydro-blasted to bare metal and completely repainted, while selected staterooms and public spaces were refurbished. Passenger-area changes included the introduction of The Catch by Rudi seafood restaurant in place of Bistro Sur La Mer.
