Sapphire Princess completed a scheduled dry dock at Vigor Shipyard in Portland, Oregon, from September 20 through October 8, 2025. The 19-day project combined routine technical maintenance and general refurbishment with the addition of two specialty restaurants. Makoto Ocean replaced the former Internet Café on Deck 7, while Crown Grill was installed in the former Savoy Dining Room on Deck 5.

Princess subsequently confirmed that the project included general refurbishments and enhancements, with Makoto Ocean and Crown Grill as its principal passenger-facing changes. Although the ship returned to service in October, Princess stated that both new restaurants would open to guests on November 16, 2025.
