Oasis of the Seas completed a scheduled dry dock at Navantia Cádiz from September 29 through October 24, 2024. The period covered routine maintenance, technical and classification work, hull work and general upkeep following the ship's extensive 2019 Royal Amplified modernization.

Oasis of the Seas underwent a 63-day, approximately $165 million Royal Amplified modernization in 2019. The extensive project reimagined the pool deck and added Splashaway Bay, The Lime & Coconut and The Perfect Storm waterslides, while the Ultimate Abyss added a major new attraction at the stern. New and reworked dining, beverage and entertainment venues included Music Hall, Portside BBQ, Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade, El Loco Fresh, Sugar Beach and Spotlight Karaoke. The project also included broad refurbishment of accommodations, public areas and technical systems throughout the ship.
