Riviera underwent a stem-to-stern OceaniaNEXT refurbishment at Chantier Naval de Marseille from November 15 through December 1, 2022.

The project renewed the ship's suites and staterooms with custom furnishings, updated fabrics and residential-style design elements. Accommodation bathrooms were rebuilt or substantially updated with new finishes, storage and larger showers. Passenger corridors and numerous public spaces were also refurbished with new carpeting, furnishings, fabrics, lighting, artwork and decorative finishes.

Documented contractor work included passenger cabins, bathrooms and corridors, catering and galley areas, the main and thalassotherapy pools, and refurbishment of the Library. The Library received new carpeting, seating and refinished wall and ceiling surfaces.

Oceania Riviera completed an extensive OceaniaNEXT refurbishment in Marseille. The project completely redesigned the three Owner’s Suites with Ralph Lauren Home furnishings, refreshed all 124 Penthouse Suites and 444 Concierge and Veranda staterooms, and introduced a new Baristas coffee bar and lounge on Deck 14. Additional work included upgrades to public spaces and technical maintenance during the shipyard period.
