Nautica will be completely reimagined and relaunched as Oceania Aurelia under the OceaniaNEXT program, with the transformed ship scheduled to debut in November 2027. The project will reposition the vessel as a lower-capacity ship designed especially for extended global voyages.

The transformed ship is planned to carry fewer than 500 guests with 238 accommodations and approximately 400 officers and crew. Of those accommodations, 179 will be suites, most exceeding 300 square feet. The accommodation portfolio will include remastered Owner's, Vista and Penthouse Suites plus new Oceania Suites, Horizon Suites, Oceanview Suites and Inside Suites. Butler service will be provided in all suites.

Baristas will move to Horizons and gain The Bakery and Crêperie. Additional changes include a new Founders Bar and Chef's Studio, while Artist Loft and the LYNC Digital Center will provide creative and technology programming. All guests will receive access to the Aquamar Spa Terrace. Existing dining venues including The Grand Dining Room, Polo Grill, Toscana, Terrace Café, Waves Grill and the evening Pizzeria will remain part of the transformed ship.
