MSC Cruises has confirmed that the refurbishment will include installation of the redesigned MSC Yacht Club restaurant, completing the announced Fantasia-class rollout. The restaurant design incorporates a contemporary layout, darker tones, soft textures, upgraded lighting and architectural partitions intended to improve privacy while retaining panoramic sea views. A specific shipyard has not been publicly confirmed.

MSC Preziosa completed a scheduled dry dock at Damen Shiprepair Rotterdam. Work included routine technical and classification maintenance, removal of marine growth, hull cleaning and repainting, inspection and servicing of thrusters, stabilizers and propellers, and refurbishment of passenger areas with replacement of flooring, carpeting and upholstery. The ship returned to passenger service in Hamburg, Germany on April 13, 2025.
