Next Scheduled Dry Dock
March 31, 2027 - May 9, 2027
Queen Mary 2 is scheduled for a substantial extended refit before her 2027 Northern Hemisphere summer program. Cunard's published post-refit deck plans indicate a significant increase in accommodation, with approximately 30 additional staterooms and a revised published guest capacity of 2,759.
The largest alteration is planned for Deck 13, where existing open deck space is to be enclosed for 18 Princess Grill Suites and five inside staterooms. Other indicated changes include conversion of the Deck 9 Concierge Lounge into four inside staterooms, replacement of the bookshop beside the library on Deck 8 with a new Queens Grill Penthouse Suite, and creation of four inside staterooms within part of the existing children's and teenagers' area on Deck 6.
The plans also indicate a new open sports or sun-deck area on Deck 14 above the added Deck 13 accommodation, resizing of the sports facilities and removal of the Boardwalk Café. Cunard has not yet announced the full passenger-space or technical scope, project cost, or shipyard.
