Carnival Spirit completed a scheduled shipyard period from January through March 2025. The period covered routine maintenance and refurbishment before the ship returned to service.

Carnival Spirit completed a two-week refurbishment at Sembawang Shipyard in Singapore that introduced new family and youth spaces, including the SoulPlay arts-and-crafts venue and Warehouse Arcade for teenagers. The project redesigned the ship's retail area with new duty-free brands, upgraded the photo gallery to the Pixels digital concept, modernized the fitness center with new equipment, and refurbished the Carnival Deli. Guest staterooms, décor and fittings throughout the ship also received general improvements before Carnival Spirit returned to service from Singapore on June 6.
