Hi Greg, I am retired now so I use FlightRadar24 to track aircraft and I think I would also like to track my Navy ships as well..

That's great. Although online ship tracking technology is lagging behind aircraft tracking it is getting better all the time. If we don't have a ship listed that you are interested in tracking just let us know and we'll do are best to get it added if tracking for it is available.

As a USN veteran I'm sure you are well aware that when ships are forward deployed or especially if they are in hostile theaters or wartime conditions they will not be reporting their position to the civilian AIS tracking system (which all online ship tracking is based on) and data for them may be very dated. This obviously is for the safety and security of the crew, the vessel, and its' assets.
