Junkanoo Beach in Nassua

How far away is Junkanoo Beach from where the boats are docked in Nassau, and is it safe to walk there.

About a 1/2 mile or so, it's a walk thru the port, the 1st part is shops and stores. The rest is thru the city on the sidewalk. It's safe. Just stay on the sidewalk. They drive fast and horns are always blowing. I'd say, as long as ur in a small group or at least have 1 man with you, you'll be fine. They'll will be people trying to get you to buy items. as soon as u pass into the port area. Kinda annoying but just say...no thank u and keep walking. There will be signs on the street leading you to the beach area
