You will love it. I cruised on her a few years back when she was named Carnival Victory. She's seen a lot of changes and upgrades since then!

I have a question… I’m not familiar with cruising… Do I need to purchase a on ship cash card , am I able to purchase beverages with cash or does it get charged to the room … I’m not sure what to do…

Almost all transactions onboard a Carnival cruise (or most any cruise ship) are charged to a card issued to you when boarding. Everyone onboard will have their own individual card and it works similar to a credit card except the charges go to your onboard personal cruise account for convenience. Most people guarantee payment of their cruise account by linking a credit or debit card to it. This linking can be done online once your cruise is booked. Cash is not typically excepted onboard anywhere.
