Micky Arison, chairman of Carnival Corporation & PLC and owner of the Miami Heat, today offered the President of The United States access to Carnival Corporation ships to be used as overflow hospitals or as needed in major cities across the U.S. with port access.
No details of how exactly the ships would be used at this time or if they will be needed. Ships may be used to care for non-critical existing hospital patients not infected with the COVID-19 coronavirus.
