Scarlet Lady completed a two-week dry-dock refurbishment at Fincantieri Palermo from November 14 through November 28, 2024. Virgin Voyages described the project as a cosmetic glow-up intended to add more premium accommodation and refresh dining, bar, lounge, wellness and outdoor spaces.
On Deck 11, Sea Terrace cabins were converted to create 24 Seriously Suite RockStar Quarters, increasing the ship's suite inventory. Razzle Dazzle introduced Lucky Lotus by Razzle Dazzle, a Chinese-inspired evening dining concept with a dedicated cocktail program. Its interior was adapted with more intimate lounge-style booths in place of communal tables. Grounds Club Too was redesigned to operate as a coffee venue by day and a full-service bar and lounge later in the day, while The Wake's existing raw-bar area was readapted to display the restaurant's collection of high-end wines.
Six reservable VIP cabanas with daybeds were installed on Deck 16 overlooking the Aquatic Club. The casino received additional slot machines, Redemption Spa gained a couples treatment room, and other bar and lounge spaces were refreshed. The project also included routine scheduled maintenance associated with the ship's first major operational dry dock.
Contractor Savi carried out United States Public Health sanitation-standard enhancements at the French Bar and Pool Bar, together with marble polishing at the Champagne Bar.
The bow mermaid artwork was repainted with a revised design featuring scarlet curls and a simplified Virgin flag.
