Scarlet Lady Dry Dock History

Previous Dry Dock
November 14, 2024 - November 28, 2024
Shipyard
Fincantieri Palermo
Duration
15 days
Scarlet Lady completed a two-week dry-dock refurbishment at Fincantieri Palermo from November 14 through November 28, 2024. Virgin Voyages described the project as a cosmetic glow-up intended to add more premium accommodation and refresh dining, bar, lounge, wellness and outdoor spaces.

On Deck 11, 24 Sea Terrace cabins were converted into Seriously Suite RockStar Quarters, increasing the ship's suite inventory. Razzle Dazzle introduced Lucky Lotus by Razzle Dazzle, a Chinese-inspired evening dining concept with a dedicated cocktail program. Grounds Club Too was redesigned to operate as a coffee venue by day and a full-service bar and lounge later in the day, while The Wake added a raw bar.

Six reservable VIP cabanas with daybeds were installed on Deck 16 overlooking the Aquatic Club. The casino received additional slot machines, Redemption Spa gained a couples treatment room, and other bar and lounge spaces were refreshed. The project also included routine scheduled maintenance associated with the ship's first major operational dry dock.

Scarlet Lady underwent general maintenance at Harland & Wolff in Belfast in September 2021 under the shipyard's first in-service support contract with Virgin Voyages. The maintenance work was completed while the vessel remained operational and did not require drydocking or removal from service.
