Borealis underwent an extensive scheduled dry dock at Damen Shiprepair Rotterdam beginning October 21, 2025. The approximately two-week program combined technical maintenance with comprehensive interior and exterior refurbishment. The Observatory and The View were refreshed, while Atlantis Spa received upgraded salon equipment, a new pedicure chair and a new jacuzzi in the Thermal Suite.

The project also introduced Fresco, a new Mediterranean-inspired open-air dining venue on Deck 8 aft, and included broader renewal of paintwork, carpeting, tiling and galley equipment. Borealis returned to passenger service in early November following completion of the shipyard program.
