What is a good hotel for an overnight stay in Seattle, Washington? We’re going on the Alaska Cruise Holland America leaving July 31 out of Seattle.

We have stayed five times at the Quality Inn Sea Tac for our HAL cruises to Alaska. They pick you up at the airport and shuttle you to the cruiseport. Also, a breakfast was included. It isn't the fanciest hotel, but it was clean and the service was great. So helpful in giving us tips to see things before/after the cruise. It has been a few years since we stayed here, so hopefully it hasn't changed. Check it out.

I just looked at the itinerary for the Nieuw Amsterdam (is that the ship you will be taking?) and see it goes to Sitka. We lived there for two years. So many things for you to see and do at all your ports. We are going back for the whole month of May in 2022. Can't wait. Will this be your first Alaskan cruise? It is truly amazing in Alaska.

If you are a triple A member use the trip services to find answers and possibly book your trip , it is free since a member and they have discounts that you only get through a travel agency . even as a seasoned cruiser we used our agent all the time for booking the cruise as well as airfare the agent watched the prices for us and made sure we had the best price available . She also booked our hotel if traveling early and we had the peace of mind knowing the hotel was on their approved list of qualified hotels it prevents getting a bad room and yes they exist. We had one hotel that turned out to be sub standard and we complained to the cruise ship and refunded the price of the room. upon return home we contacted triple A and they removed the hotel from the list they use .
Room issue: We arrived early with confirmation letter of booking. hotel had no record of booking even with our confirmation in hand they found one empty room but had a leaking and dripping sink that we took rather than have no room . turns out they had overbooked the hotel and decided cruise guest had to lose the rooms they had guest sleeping in lobby in chairs and on floors as well as in courtyard , when asked about pickup point to pier by the cruise line they replied out there somewhere and got very crappy with attitude when asked where out there. will I use tripple A again ..definitely and dont hesitate to complain on board if your excursion isnt what was described as the ship can and will refund excursion cost to keep the ship passengers happy

When we arrived in Seattle, we stayed at the Executive Hotel Pacific. This hotel is located in the city center and it is convenient to get anywhere by transport or on foot.
