Tipping / Gratuities

• Crew Appreciation: Princess automatically adds daily Crew Appreciation to guest accounts unless it is already included through an applicable package or fare.
• Standard Staterooms: The current Crew Appreciation amount is US$18 per person, per day for standard stateroom categories.
• Mini-Suites, Cabanas & Reserve Collection: The current amount is US$19 per person, per day.
• Suites: The current amount is US$20 per person, per day.
• Princess Plus & Premier: Crew Appreciation is included with current Princess Plus and Princess Premier packages.
• Adjustments: Princess treats Crew Appreciation as discretionary and allows adjustments while onboard before the account is settled and the guest disembarks.
• Service Charges: A 20% service charge applies to many optional food, beverage, specialty dining and other onboard purchases that are not already included in a fare or package.

Embarking

• Complete OceanReady: Complete the required pre-cruise information in the Princess App before heading to the terminal to reduce check-in delays.
• Arrival Groups: At participating embarkation ports, Princess uses staggered Arrival Groups. Selection typically opens in the Princess App 30 days before embarkation; guests can choose an available arrival window or have one automatically assigned.
• Travel Documents: Keep passports and other required identification in your carry-on and readily accessible throughout the terminal process.
• OceanMedallion: If your Medallion was not shipped to you before sailing, it can be collected during embarkation.
• Wine & Champagne: Guests of legal drinking age may bring one bottle of wine or champagne of 750ml or less per person, per voyage. No corkage applies when the allowance bottle is consumed in the stateroom.
• Corkage: A US$20 corkage fee currently applies when the allowance bottle is consumed in a public area. Additional permitted bottles are subject to the US$20 corkage fee regardless of where they are consumed.
• Beer & Spirits: Beer, liquor and spirits may not be brought onboard at embarkation.
• Nonalcoholic Drinks: Princess permits up to 12 sealed cans or cartons of nonalcoholic beverages, each 12 ounces or less, per guest in carry-on luggage on embarkation day. Bottled nonalcoholic beverages are generally prohibited.
• Embarkation Lunch: The buffet is not your only option. Princess states that main dining rooms may also be available for lunch on embarkation day, providing a quieter alternative.
• Carry-On Essentials: Keep medications, valuables, electronics, swimwear and anything needed before checked luggage arrives with you.

OceanMedallion

• Wearable Device: OceanMedallion is Princess's small wearable device and replaces the traditional cruise card for most everyday shipboard functions.
• Stateroom Entry: Your stateroom can recognize your Medallion as you approach and unlock the door without inserting or swiping a card.
• Onboard Identification: The Medallion identifies you to Princess systems and is used when entering and leaving the ship.
• Purchases: The Medallion is used for charging eligible onboard purchases to your shipboard account.
• Location-Aware Service: Princess can use the Medallion's location capability to support services such as delivering OceanNow orders to eligible locations around the ship.

• Restaurants Vary By Ship: Crown Grill, Sabatini's Italian Trattoria, The Catch by Rudi and other specialty concepts are available on selected ships rather than fleetwide.

Dining Dress Guidelines

• Smart Casual: Most evenings are Smart Casual. Princess describes dining-room attire as similar to what guests would wear to a nice restaurant at home.
• Formal Nights: Princess recommends evening gowns, cocktail dresses or elegant pantsuits for women and tuxedos, dark suits or dinner jackets with slacks for men.
• 1-4 Days: Princess generally schedules no formal evenings.
• 5-6 Days: One formal evening is typical.
• 7-13 Days: Two formal evenings are typical.
• 14-20 Days: Three formal evenings are typical.
• 21-28 Days: Four formal evenings are typical.

• Included Food: Princess fares include main dining, buffet dining and a selection of casual food options, with exact venues varying by ship.
• International Café: The International Café on participating ships offers included light food such as pastries, sandwiches and snacks, while specialty coffees and premium beverages are additional unless covered by a package.
• OceanNow: Food and beverages can be ordered for delivery to eligible onboard locations, with the delivery-access fee waived for current Princess Plus and Premier guests.
• Room Service: Delivery from the stateroom room-service menu is included with current Plus and Premier packages. Other guests currently pay a delivery fee when ordering by stateroom phone.
• Service Charge: Optional food and beverage purchases not already covered by a fare or package generally carry Princess's 20% service charge.

Beverage Packages

• Plus Beverage Package: The beverage component of Princess Plus currently covers qualifying drinks priced up to US$15 each and permits up to 15 alcoholic beverages per day.

Princess Caribbean and Bahamas itineraries increasingly use several private or exclusive Carnival Corporation destinations. The destination scheduled for your cruise can change, so always check the current itinerary rather than assuming a particular private-island stop is included.

Princess Cays Updated

• Eleuthera: Princess Cays occupies a resort area on the southern end of Eleuthera in The Bahamas and has been associated with Princess itineraries for decades.
• Beach Day: The destination offers beaches, swimming, snorkeling, water activities, shopping and reservable premium experiences.
• Complimentary Food: A beach barbecue is traditionally included during Princess calls.
• Tender Port: Princess Cays is generally reached by ship-to-shore water shuttle rather than by walking directly from a pier.
• 2026 Schedule Changes: Princess has recently shifted many previously planned Princess Cays calls after October 2026 to RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay or Celebration Key. Princess Cays has not been announced as closed, but guests should verify the destination shown on their current booking.

Celebration Key Upcoming

• Princess Debut: Princess is scheduled to begin calling at Celebration Key on November 1, 2026, with Star Princess making the cruise line's first scheduled visit.
• Grand Bahama Island: Celebration Key is Carnival Corporation's large private destination on Grand Bahama Island.
• Freshwater Lagoons: The destination centers around expansive freshwater lagoons, beaches and resort-style recreation areas.

• Book Early: Popular tours and limited-capacity experiences can sell out before departure, particularly in destinations such as Alaska and Europe.
• Princess Premier Credit: Current Princess Premier packages provide eligible shore-excursion credit based on voyage length.
• Independent Exploration: Guests may explore ports independently where permitted. Research transportation, distance from the pier, local opening hours and return time before leaving the port.
