Before Cruising

• Manage My Booking: Azamara uses its website, Guest Account, and Manage My Booking tools for pre-cruise planning. Guests can review reservation information and purchase available shore excursions, onboard packages, and pre- or post-cruise land programs.
• Travel Documents: Passport, visa, electronic travel authorization, vaccination, and other entry requirements depend on citizenship and itinerary. Our Cruise Planning Guide covers general cruise documentation and pre-cruise planning in greater detail.
• Destination Planning: Late departures, overnight stays, and long port calls can provide considerably more time ashore than a conventional cruise itinerary. Reviewing local transportation, opening hours, evening activities, and independent sightseeing options before sailing can make those longer calls easier to use.
• Resort Casual: Azamara maintains a resort-casual atmosphere and does not require formal attire. Guests may dress more formally if they prefer.
• Packing: Complimentary self-service laundry makes packing lighter particularly practical on longer voyages. Our Cruise Packing Guide covers general cruise packing and carry-on planning.

Azamara Forward Upcoming

• Fleetwide Renovation Program: Azamara Forward is Azamara's largest fleetwide renovation program to date. The program will refresh staterooms and suites, public spaces, restaurants, bars, nightlife venues, and wellness facilities across all four ships.
• Azamara Quest: Quest enters dry dock on October 31, 2026, with work scheduled through November 26. The completed ship returns to service November 26, while Azamara identifies the December 18, 2026 Miami sailing as the official Azamara Forward debut.
• Penthouse Deck: Quest will receive a new Penthouse Deck with new suite categories. The new deck is exclusive to Azamara Quest and is not part of the other ships' announced renovations.
• Azamara Onward: Onward is scheduled to become the second ship to receive Azamara Forward during an approximately two-week dry dock in early November 2027. Its first post-renovation cruise is scheduled for November 25, 2027, a seven-night Italy Intensive sailing from Athens to Rome.
• Onward Changes: Announced enhancements include refreshed staterooms and suites, transformed nightlife spaces, a dedicated Chef's Table venue, a reimagined Discoveries Restaurant, a redesigned Atlas Bar, a transformed Cabaret Lounge, spa improvements, and upgraded public spaces.
• Journey & Pursuit: Azamara Journey and Azamara Pursuit are also included in Azamara Forward, but their renovation timing has not yet been announced.
• Ship Differences During Rollout: Because the program is being introduced one ship at a time, onboard features will differ during the transition period.

Azamara Circle

• Loyalty Program: Azamara Circle is Azamara's returning-guest loyalty program.
• Membership Levels: Current levels are Preview, Adventurer, Explorer, Discoverer, Discoverer Plus, and Discoverer Platinum.
• Points: Cruise points are earned per night according to the originally booked accommodation category. Current earning ranges from 2 points per night in Interior accommodations to 18 points per night in Spa, Ocean, Owner's, and Panorama Suites.
• Tier Thresholds: Adventurer begins at 1 point, Explorer at 150, Discoverer at 300, Discoverer Plus at 750, and Discoverer Platinum at 3,000 points.
• Wi-Fi Benefits: Adventurer and higher members can receive complimentary internet minutes or tier-based savings toward a full-voyage unlimited package. Discoverer Platinum currently receives 100% savings toward the qualifying full-voyage package.
• Beverage Package Savings: Eligible tiers receive increasing discounts on the Ultimate Beverage Package.
• Other Benefits: Depending on tier, benefits can include spa savings, complimentary laundry, priority check-in at select ports, onboard future-cruise savings, and earned complimentary cruise nights.
• Check Your Account: Review your Azamara Circle number, previous cruise history, and current tier before sailing so applicable loyalty benefits are attached to the reservation.

Tipping / Gratuities

• Included Gratuities: Standard onboard gratuities are included in Azamara's cruise fare.
• No Daily Gratuity Charge: Guests do not receive the automatic per-person daily crew gratuity commonly added by many other cruise lines.
• Additional Services: Separately purchased services such as spa or salon treatments may have their own applicable service charges or gratuities.
• Ashore: Local excursion guides and drivers are not covered by Azamara's included onboard gratuities.
• Additional Tipping: Additional onboard tipping remains optional.

Embarking

• Pre-Cruise Information: Complete required guest, passport, and travel-document information through Azamara's current pre-cruise tools before departure.
• Arrival Instructions: Terminal procedures and boarding times vary by port and voyage. Follow the embarkation information issued for your specific sailing.
• Carry-On Essentials: Keep passports, medications, travel documents, valuables, electronics, and anything needed during the first few hours onboard in carry-on luggage.
• Specialty Dining: Prime C and Aqualina have limited seating. Guests planning to use the specialty restaurants can arrange reservations once available.
• Airplane Mode: Before leaving port, switching mobile devices to Airplane Mode and then enabling Wi-Fi separately can prevent unintended cellular-at-sea roaming.

Wi-Fi / Internet Access

• Starlink: Azamara uses Starlink-powered onboard internet. Actual performance varies with location, weather, network traffic, and other operating conditions.
• Internet Packages: Full-voyage internet packages are available for purchase, while some accommodations, loyalty levels, and promotions include internet minutes, package discounts, or unlimited access.
• Continent Suites: For cruises departing April 1, 2026 and later, Continent Suites include unlimited Basic Starlink Wi-Fi for one device per guest.
• Top Suites: Eligible Top Suites include unlimited Starlink Wi-Fi for two simultaneous devices per guest on cruises departing April 1, 2026 and later.
• Azamara Circle: Loyalty benefits can provide additional complimentary minutes or percentage savings toward a full-voyage unlimited package depending on tier.
• Combining Benefits: Certain stateroom and loyalty internet benefits can be combined under Azamara's current rules, making it worth reviewing all benefits attached to the booking before purchasing a separate package.

Cabin

• Accommodation Types: Azamara offers Interior, Oceanview, Veranda, Veranda Plus, and several suite categories. Size, layout, amenities, and included benefits vary by category and ship.
• Standard Amenities: Accommodation amenities can include bathrobes and slippers, mini-bar or refrigerator, television, desk, safe, hair dryer, toiletries, and 24-hour room service.
• 24-Hour Room Service: Room service is included as part of Azamara's standard cruise-fare inclusions.
• Continent Suites: Cruises departing April 1, 2026 and later include unlimited Basic Starlink Wi-Fi for one device per guest plus enhanced Wash & Fold laundry benefits.
• Top Suites: Club World Owner's Suites, Club Ocean Suites, and Club Spa Suites receive expanded benefits that currently include the Ultimate Beverage Package, unlimited Starlink Wi-Fi for two simultaneous devices per guest, unlimited laundry, complimentary specialty dining, and the Acamar Experience dinner.
• Suite Services: Current suite inclusions also provide butler and concierge service, with additional benefits varying by suite category.
• Category Matters: Azamara suite benefits differ substantially between categories, so use the inclusions attached to the exact booked accommodation rather than assuming all suites receive the same package.

On Deck

• Small-Ship Atmosphere: Azamara's outdoor areas focus on pools, sun decks, relaxation, and destination views rather than the large waterparks and high-energy attractions found aboard many larger resort-style ships.
• Pool Deck: The central pool area includes a swimming pool, whirlpools, loungers, and nearby food and beverage service.
• Sun Deck: Upper outdoor decks provide open views for scenic arrivals, departures, coastal cruising, sunsets, and days at sea.
• White Night: Azamara's signature White Night celebration is generally held outdoors when weather and itinerary conditions permit, combining dining, live entertainment, and dancing.
• Weather: Outdoor events and activities can be relocated or changed when weather or operating conditions require it.

Dining

• Discoveries Restaurant: Discoveries is Azamara's main dining room and uses open seating rather than assigned traditional dinner times. Reservations are not accepted for the main dining room.
• Windows Café: Windows Café provides buffet-style and casual dining throughout the voyage.
• The Patio: The Patio provides casual poolside dining, with menus and operating hours varying by sailing.
• Destination-Inspired Dining: Azamara incorporates regional cuisine and ingredients inspired by destinations visited during the voyage.
• Dietary Requirements: Important dietary requirements can be provided to Azamara before sailing and discussed with dining staff onboard.
• Room Service: 24-hour room service is included.

Specialty Dining

• Prime C: Prime C is Azamara's specialty steakhouse, serving steaks, seafood, and other upscale dishes.
• Aqualina: Aqualina is Azamara's Mediterranean and Italian-influenced specialty restaurant.
• Reservations: Reservations are strongly recommended for Prime C and Aqualina because capacity is limited.
• Suite Guests: Specialty dining is complimentary for qualifying suite guests. Other guests should review current pricing and package options for their sailing.

Dining Dress Guidelines

• Resort Casual: Azamara encourages resort-casual attire in its dining rooms.
• Discoveries, Prime C & Aqualina: Bare feet, tank tops, T-shirts, baseball caps, bathing suits, shorts, and torn or distressed jeans are not permitted in these restaurants.
• Windows Café: Footwear and a cover-up or shirt are required.
• Formal Attire: Guests may dress more formally for dinner, but formal clothing is optional.

Food & Beverage

• More Included: Azamara includes a broader selection of beverages in the standard fare than many cruise lines.
• Specialty Coffee & Tea: Specialty coffees and teas are among the included beverages.
• Premium Choices: Premium wines, upgraded spirits, and other beverages outside the complimentary selection can be purchased individually or through available beverage packages.
• Operating Hours: Restaurant and bar hours vary throughout the voyage and are published in the current onboard program.

Included Beverages

• Alcoholic Beverages: Select standard spirits, international beers, and wines are included in the cruise fare.
• Wine By The Glass: Azamara's complimentary selection includes rotating red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines by the glass.
• Non-Alcoholic Beverages: Bottled water, soft drinks, juices, specialty coffees, teas, and other standard non-alcoholic selections are included.
• Package Not Required For Included Brands: Guests can use the standard included beverage program throughout the cruise without purchasing a separate beverage package.

Ultimate Beverage Package

• Expanded Selection: The Ultimate Beverage Package expands Azamara's included drink selection with additional premium spirits, wines, beers, cocktails, and other upgraded beverages.
• Azamara Circle: Eligible Azamara Circle members receive tier-based savings on the Ultimate Beverage Package.
• Top Suites: The Ultimate Beverage Package is included for qualifying Top Suite guests on cruises departing April 1, 2026 and later.

Onboard Entertainment

• New Entertainment Program: Azamara began introducing a new generation of original onboard productions in April 2026 in partnership with RWS Global.
• Azamara Pursuit: Pursuit launched the new program on April 10, 2026 with original productions including Viva Vegas and Yesterday, Today and Forever, along with shows designed for broader fleet rollout.
• Azamara Journey: Journey became the second ship to receive the refreshed entertainment program in May 2026, introducing productions including Rendezvous in Paris and Cinemaphonic.
• Fleet Rollout: Entertainment is being introduced progressively, so the exact production lineup depends on the ship and sailing date.
• Live Entertainment: Additional programming can include musicians, singers, dancing, guest performers, lounge entertainment, and activities throughout the ship.
• Destination Enrichment: Lectures, cultural presentations, port information, and other enrichment programming complement Azamara's destination-focused itineraries.
• White Night: White Night combines dining, live entertainment, and dancing in one of Azamara's signature onboard events. Guests are encouraged to wear white, but the event remains informal.

Wellness & Fitness

• Spa & Fitness: Azamara ships provide spa, salon, fitness, and wellness facilities in a scale appropriate to the line's smaller ships.
• Fitness Center: Fitness facilities provide cardio and strength-training equipment, with available classes and services varying by ship and sailing.
• Thalassotherapy Pool: Access to Azamara's thalassotherapy facilities is included with certain suite accommodations and may otherwise be offered under the ship's current spa access policies.
• Spa Services: Massages, body treatments, salon services, and other personal services are generally additional cost.

THESANCTUM Updated

• Azamara's Wellness Brand: THESANCTUM is Azamara's onboard spa and wellness experience operated in partnership with OneSpaWorld.
• Fleetwide Enhancements: Azamara announced expanded THESANCTUM facilities and next-generation wellness services in June 2026, with the upgrades rolling out as each ship enters its Azamara Forward dry dock.
• New Facilities: Announced upgrades include dedicated couples treatment rooms and redesigned spa retail areas.
• Expanded Services: Azamara is also expanding Medi-Spa and IV wellness offerings as part of the program.
• Ship-by-Ship Rollout: Exact facilities will vary until Azamara Forward has been completed across the fleet.

Destination Immersion

• Destination Immersion®: Azamara builds its itineraries around spending more time in destinations through long port calls, late departures, overnight stays, and smaller ports.
• Extended Destination Days: Azamara uses this term for port visits lasting 10 hours or longer.
• Late Departures: Many itineraries remain in port into the evening, making local dining, performances, nightlife, and evening sightseeing possible.
• Overnight Stays: Selected itineraries remain in the same destination overnight, extending the available time well beyond a conventional daytime cruise call.
• Small-Ship Access: Azamara's ships can visit many smaller ports that cannot accommodate today's largest cruise ships.

AzAmazing Evenings

• Complimentary Experience: AzAmazing Evenings® are complimentary cultural experiences created for Azamara guests on eligible cruises.
• Nine Nights or Longer: Most qualifying cruises of nine nights or longer feature an event ashore. When local infrastructure prevents an ashore event, the experience can be brought onboard.
• Seven & Eight Nights: Current seven- and eight-night cruises generally feature the AzAmazing Evening onboard rather than ashore.
• Exceptions: Cruises shorter than seven nights, select transoceanic voyages, and charters may not include an AzAmazing Evening.
• Timing: Azamara generally aims to publish the specific event approximately six to nine months before sailing.

Azamara Ashore

• Pre- & Post-Cruise Land Programs: Azamara Ashore extends Destination Immersion beyond the cruise with organized land programs before or after the sailing.
• Program Types: Current options include City Stays and longer AzAmazing Journeys, with availability depending on destination and sailing.
• Booking: Available land programs can be reviewed through Azamara's pre-cruise reservation tools.

Ports / Shore Excursions

• Azamara Shore Excursions: Available excursions can be reviewed and booked through Azamara's Guest Account and Manage My Booking tools.
• Destination-Focused Experiences: Excursions can include sightseeing, history, culture, food and wine, outdoor activities, and other locally focused experiences.
• Country-Intensive Voyages: Azamara offers itineraries concentrated within individual countries or regions, often calling at several destinations within the same country.
• Complimentary Port Shuttles: Shuttle transportation between the ship and local port communities is included where available.
• Independent Exploration: Long calls, late departures, and overnight stays can provide considerable flexibility for independent sightseeing.
• Tender Ports: Some destinations require tender service between ship and shore, which adds additional transit time.
• All-Aboard Time: Follow the all-aboard time supplied by the ship for each port. Guests exploring independently are responsible for returning before departure.

• Always Azamara: Azamara includes a comparatively broad collection of onboard amenities in its standard cruise fare.
• Dining: A variety of standard dining venues and 24-hour room service are included.

Disembarking

• Departure Instructions: Follow the onboard information for luggage collection, departure groups, immigration, customs, and meeting locations because procedures vary by terminal.
• Checked Luggage: Guests using the ship's luggage-handling process receive instructions for tagging and placing luggage outside the stateroom before departure morning.
• Keep Essentials With You: Passports, medications, valuables, electronics, travel documents, and anything needed overnight or during departure morning should remain in carry-on luggage.
• Final Account: Review the onboard account before leaving the ship so any questions can be addressed while onboard staff are available.
• Customs & Immigration: Arrival requirements depend on the country and port. Follow instructions provided by Azamara and local authorities.
• Onward Transportation: Allow enough time after arrival for ship clearance, immigration, customs, baggage collection, and local transportation before flights or other connections.
