Wine brought onboard

Hello - I read on Carnival (somewhere) that if your cruise was more than 7 days you were allowed to bring one extra bottle of wine in your carry-on luggage. Ex: two adults in a stateroom on an 8 day cruise, you can carry-on/have a total of 3 bottles of wine for that particular stateroom Carnival rep also told me this. But now I'm trying to find where it is stated, in writing, and I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find this? And has anyone else done this?

I have not heard of the extra bottle for 8 day or more cruises, nor seen it written. Although that does not mean it may not be true.

Carnival's current policy on their site has been the same for the quite a few years. Typically if there is a policy change it is reflected on Carnival's site quite quickly.

As you can see from the link below, Carnival still shows the same "Bringing Alcohol Onboard - Embarkation Day" policy that has been in place for years.
