Kids Menu?

Hi fellow cruisers. Does anyone know if kids can order off the adult menu? My six year old sometimes wants something besides hot dogs and chicken fingers.... I haven't cruised with a child before so I am curious if they will think I'm crazy when she orders shrimp cocktail and broiled sole?

She can order off of any menu offered at the table. That includes ordering a combination of items from the children's menu and adult menu at the same time. It's a great time to get kids to try some new things too!

Thanks Greg. I have one more question if you don't mind - on the Cheers Program. I know there is a 5 minute rule between drinks, but does that include non-alcoholic ones too? for example, if I order a glass of merlot, will I have to wait 5 minutes to order a ginger ale? Ty!

Technically, yes. The five minute wait is built into the computer system and the wait is between all drinks served whether it's alcoholic or non-alcoholic.

Your experience may be different depending on who is serving you. If they choose to serve you both at the same time it just means they aren't putting it in the computer or are just waiting to put the second drink in when the time is up. I've seen it both ways. They are limited because they need signed receipts for all drinks entered. So, if you are not sitting down in front of them they would have no way to get a second receipt signed after the wait.
