The Quantum class cruise ships were built between 2014 and 2015 for Royal Caribbean International and pioneered the North Star observation pod rising 300 feet above sea level. The class features a distinctive split-superstructure design that maximizes open deck space. The vessels were the first to include a large indoor activity complex at sea.
