Hi all, as the title says I’m new to the world of cruising (kind of) and could use some of your expert advice.
To be honest I’m not a complete novice, my wife and I tried a 2 night taster cruise from the UK to Gurnsey with P & O early this year which was great though it was adults only on the Arcadia. We were also lucky enough to be invited to sail on Norwegian’s newest ship Encore from Bremerhaven to Southampton. Again this was mainly adults is it was a media event for its inaugural sailing.
Have to say that the Encore had fab bars and restaurants, really couldn’t fault the ship in any way but, and here’s the query, we are looking to cruise May next year (2020) for our 30th anniversary and looking for hints, tips or suggestions. Our current thought is the Caribbean for 7 to 14 days or something in between on one of the smaller ships with perhaps few children. We aren’t against children but have 2 that are grown up now so don’t need to share that experience anymore.
Any advice or thoughts will be great fully appreciated.
thanks in advance.
