Unless you're very light sleepers and have had issues before while cruising I wouldn't worry too much. I know for myself anytime I'm cruising I usually pretty beat by the time I want to sleep and there isn't much that is going to wake me before I'm ready to get up
If you are truly concerned you can look into getting a room assignment change, but this will be completely dependent on the cruise line and what kind of fare you purchased.
We were in a cabin on Voyager right next to the forward elevators.... no noise what-so-ever and extremely convenient after a long day (and night) and we couldn't face the stairs.
