Ingredients:

  • 4 Chilean sea bass fillets (6 oz each)
  • ¼ cup white miso paste
  • 2 tbsp mirin
  • 2 tbsp sake
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions:

    1. Whisk together miso, mirin, sake, soy sauce, maple syrup, and sesame oil.
    2. Marinate the sea bass fillets in the mixture for 10–15 minutes.
    3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Sear the fish 4–5 minutes per side until caramelized and cooked through.
    4. Serve immediately with steamed rice and sautéed vegetables.
