Disney Cruise Line's Beef Tenderloin with Red Wine Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:
- 4 beef tenderloin steaks (6 oz each)
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 2 shallots, minced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup red wine (cabernet or merlot)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
Instructions:
- Season steaks generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove and rest.
- In same pan, melt butter and sauté shallots and garlic until soft.
- Add red wine and thyme. Simmer until reduced by half.
- Add beef broth and continue simmering until sauce thickens.
- Return steaks to pan to warm through. Serve with sauce spooned over top.
